Morning, Gill Brook

Adirondack Mountain Reserve, NY.
I followed the Gill Brook Trail on this morning, headed to the Fish Hawk Cliffs. A faster hike up follows a cutoff from the Lake Road further on, but why miss the sound of this beautiful little stream as it makes it's way down to the East Branch of the Ausable River? Low, early autumn flows let me get a vantage point mid-stream below this little pool.
