Northeast Harbor, Maine
It was miserable weather in June of the year I made this image. The fog and rain was nice the first couple of days, but then became a drudgery of being cooped up in the downpours, and dulled by limited vistas in between. It went on for a week. On this day I roamed in Acadia rather aimlessly, ending up in Northeast Harbor. Almost into concealment, this ketch sat with it's companion, no doubt unable or unwilling to go out into the cloud, and sat suspended in the calm harbor, anchored for the day.
