Schoodic Penninsula, Maine. Late afternoon found me wandering the Maine Coast. The little fishing village of Corea has long been a favorite of mine, and I hit it today at low tide. The lobster boats were anchored for the day, surrounded by the exoskeleton of the harbor. Not much stirred here, and it was strangely quiet at this hour, but for the random cries of the gulls. Things don't change much in places like this, and much of it's beauty lies in the knowledge of it's steadfastness, it's successful history of life. I get stares while I make my images...why do you find this so fascinating? I am a stranger here.
