Sunrise, Cloud's Rest

Yosemite NP, CA (RP13565).
A grey bank of cloud ironically stalled on the summit of Cloud's Rest this morning, while the sky lit up in degrees of pink. I had climbed this granitic dome, stopping every few yards to survey the image possibilities behind me. Erratics were strewn around like giant pebbles on the open rock, and a couple of Jeffrey pines stood to frame the ridgeline.
