Under The Mountains

Sieur du Monts, Acadia National Park, Maine. A miserable rain had been falling all day. Everything wet and damp, including me and all my equipment. It would stop for ten minutes or so, then begin again, with a puff of wind blowing mist on the lenses. But it was still beautiful, and the rain intensified all the colors in the park, especially here in the gardens of Sieur du Monts, where yellows and lime greens dominated the spectrum.
