Beaver Meadow Brook

Schroon Lake, Adirondacks, NY.
This little waterway drains Beaver Meadow Marsh, a bit above Schroon Lake. It is not a destination up here, but more something you'd look at driving by to somewhere else. This day I stopped and followed it, winding through forest up to the marsh, then down to the lake. In it's bed lie some big erratics, some moderate pools, and sporadic rapids, the noise of which is dampened in this still forest.
