Above Forest Canyon

Rocky Mountain National Park, Colorado. Bounded by Terra Tomah on one side and Mount Ida on the other, the Gorge Lakes Basin sits in the lap of several peaks. Below that the terrain deepens even more into Forest Canyon. On this day I took a series of shots in vertical format with an 80-200 f/2.8 lens and stitched them together in Photoshop. This is the kind of place you could let your eyes roam over for a long time, tracing numerous routes to traverse the spectacular landscape there. That will be another trip.
